As a Post-Doc
The IRJ Postdoctoral Fellowship Initiative builds pathways for scholars to advance intersectional, interdisciplinary research centered in racial justice and driving structural change.
As a postdoctoral fellow with IRJ, you’ll have access to all our resources and networks. You’ll conduct change-making research alongside dedicated mentors, create transformational educational experiences for current and future Loyola students, and build meaningful and mutually beneficial community partnerships.
Each fellow receives the following:
- $70K salary and benefits (2-year appointment starting in July)
- Funding for professional development activities
- Funding to pay mentors for their time
- Access to graduate student research support
- Curated leadership experiences with community partners
Our first cohort began in the summer of 2022 with three fellows, each focused on one of the following topics:
- Economic Justice
- Environmental Justice
- Educational Justice
